Ordering & Processing

How long does it take to process my order?
Most orders are packed and ready to ship within 2–4 business days. Everything is handmade in small batches, so occasionally I may need a little extra time. If there’s ever an unexpected delay with your order, I’ll reach out and let you know.

Can I change or cancel my order?
If your order hasn’t shipped yet, email me at sarah@thesoakshack.com as soon as possible and I’ll do my best to help.

Shipping

How much is shipping?
Shipping is a flat $6 anywhere in the U.S. Spend $50 or more and shipping is FREE!

Do you include tracking?
Yep! Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with tracking information so you can follow your package all the way to your doorstep.

How long does shipping take?
Once your order ships, delivery typically takes another 2–5 business days, depending on your location and carrier.

Who do you ship with?
I use USPS and UPS and choose the best option for your order.

Do you ship outside the U.S.?
Not right now — The Soak Shack currently ships within the U.S. only.

Local Pickup

Do you offer local pickup?
Yes! Local pickup is available at checkout for nearby customers. You’ll receive a notification when your order is ready, so please wait until you hear from me before heading over to pick it up.

Refunds & Returns

Do you accept returns?
Because bath and body products are personal-use items, I’m unable to accept returns. However, if your order arrives damaged or something isn’t right, please reach out. I want you to be happy with your order, and I’ll do my best to make it right.

My order arrived damaged. What should I do?
Send your order number and a photo of the damaged item to sarah@thesoakshack.com, and I’ll take care of it.

Product Questions

What is a Skin Butter Stick?
Think lotion — without the bottle or the mess! Skin Butter Sticks are solid moisturizers made with nourishing butters, oils, and beeswax. Just twist, swipe, and go. They’re perfect for dry hands, elbows, heels, cuticles, or anywhere your skin could use a little extra love.

Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
Everyone’s skin is different, so always check the ingredient list before using a new product, especially if you have allergies or sensitivities. I recommend patch testing first, and you’re always welcome to reach out with ingredient questions before ordering.

Will the colors in your products stain my tub or shower?
I use cosmetic-grade mica in select products. It is designed for cosmetic use and typically rinses away easily, but every tub and shower surface is different. Rinsing your tub or shower after use is always a good idea.

How long do your products last?
Shelf life varies depending on the product. For the best quality, keep your products stored properly and avoid introducing water into jars or containers. If you ever have a question about a specific product, just ask!

Product Care

How should I store my products?
Keep your goodies in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. This helps protect their texture, scent, and overall quality.

How should I care for my Foaming Sugar Scrub?
Try to keep water out of the jar. Scoop out what you need with clean, dry hands or a small scoop and close the lid when you’re finished. A little goes a long way!

My Skin Butter Stick feels softer in the summer. Is that normal?
Yep! Skin Butter Sticks are made with real butters, oils, and beeswax, so warmer temperatures can naturally make them softer. Keep yours somewhere cool and avoid leaving it in a hot car or direct sunlight.

What if my Skin Butter Stick melts?
Don’t panic! Place it upright somewhere cool and allow it to firm back up before using it again. The texture or appearance may change a little after melting, but that doesn’t necessarily mean anything is wrong with it.

Shower Steamers

How do I use a Shower Steamer?
Place one in your shower out of the direct stream of water, where it can get lightly splashed. As it dissolves, the essential oils will release into the steam.

Shower Steamers are for shower use only — they are not bath bombs and should not be used in the bathtub.

Gift Sets

Do you offer gift sets?
Yes! Gift sets and seasonal bundles are available throughout the year. They’re perfect for birthdays, holidays, teachers, coworkers, or those “I have no idea what to get them” situations.

Can I include a gift note?
Absolutely! Add your note at checkout or send me a message after ordering and I’ll make sure it gets included.
